Begin by selecting the item you wish to dye, from handkerchiefs and scarves to fabric bags. You will then be guided through each step of the process, learning how to prepare the cloth and shape intricate patterns using traditional methods such as shibori. Through folding, binding, twisting, and compressing the fabric, you will create organic designs that emerge beautifully during the dyeing process.
The result is a spectrum of rich, natural blues (both striking and environmentally conscious) achieved through time-honored techniques.
